The LulzBot Mini does not ship with filament, so make sure to order some with your purchase. We recommend HIPS! More advanced materials include heavy duty options like nylon, T-Glase, and polycarbonate, or artistic varieties of wood- and stone-like materials. With so many options available, the choice is yours!
With its open filament system your LulzBot Mini has nearly unlimited potential for new materials.
The LulzBot Hexagon Hot End heats up to 300°C (572°F) and the bed heats up to 120°C (248°F), meaning your printer can heat up to temperatures required for industrial-grade materials. The PEI print surface allows easy, low maintenance 3D printing so you don't have to worry about using tape, adhesives, or solvents to help objects stick to the print bed.
